Jonathan-
I’m envious! All of those are on my wishlist.
I just got back from the Ecclesia National Gathering in DC, and Mike Breen was one of the presenters. He was really good, and his vision for mid-sized missional communities has gotten my wheels rolling. I also recommend you take a look at their model of intentional discipleship, called Huddles. Both models, it seems to me, hold a lot of promise.

Re: the last comment–not sure if you’ve connected the dots, since I don’t have a public profile on my blog–this is Chris Thomas, from GCTS.
I forgot to mention where the Huddles resources are–go here and search for “Huddle”… http://www.3dministries.com

Thanks Chris! I will check it out. Some friends of mine were at that conference–John Chandler, JR Woodward…maybe you met them?

Didn’t meet either of them, but I knew they were around. I was pleasantly surprised at how many bloggers I read were there–JR Briggs, David Fitch, JR Woodward, etc. Lets of JRs, not sure what that’s about.
On a different note, a couple of us pastor-types in Richmond are bringing Steve Timmis to town in the fall for some training. I’ll let you know when we know more and maybe you can let any east coast comrades of yours know.
